So GAME and Gamestation won’t be stocking any EA titles including Mass Effect 3. The company has been in a bit of trouble for a while, and it would seem that the publisher wants more money upfront that GAME are not willing (or more likely able) to pay.
A leaked internal memo circulated to GAME and Gamestation branches offers up some more information. From GamesIndustry.biz:
We gave the industry commitments - we committed to integrity and openness in our dealings, and working with everyone equally. We committed to only stocking products on which we could get the right credit terms, regardless of the title or supplier. We will not stock products if the terms are not right for our business - we will not sacrifice long-term credit requirements for short-term sales opportunities.
As a result of us taking this position - a position that we believe is critical to our long term health as a business - we have taken the very difficult decision not to stock EA’s March releases, including Mass Effect 3.
The CE of Mass Effect was exclusive to GAME/Gamestation, but since the news it has appeared on both Amazon, Zavvi and Play, all of which have already sold out.
If you have reward points with these companies, use them fast - they’ll be worth nothing if the company goes into administration which is looking more and more likely…
Good day for xbox!
So basically, after Avatar, this is by far the easiest 1000G I’ve ever played.
It’s similar to the CSI games, but you won’t need a guide. All of the achievements are storyline, so there’s no collectibles, and no achievements for getting things right first time. The game completely hand-holds you throughout, and none of the mini games are tricky in any way, shape or form.
It’s fairly boring yes - only a huge fan of the show or an achievement whore would bother with it.
1000g without a guide in less than four hours? Win.

OMG. Roll on September 21st. Will definately be pre-ordering this bad boy!
Awesome little game and good fun. The only disappointment was that I got the entire 200G in the space of about 5 minutes, surely making this the Avatar of Windows Phone. I grabbed this on Deal of the Week, but I wouldn’t spend much on it if you’re just looking for achievements.
