I just finished up getting the achievements in this awesome game on the XBLA.
It’s like RISK! meets Scrabble. You have territories, but when it comes to the battle you need to make the best word. Both players pick from the same tray of 8 letters, but you can only make a word as long as the number of troops you have in the territory. If you both score the same, it’s whoever typed the word fastest wins.
The achievements are all for completing various single player challenges, so no online MP required, although this is a really fun game to pass some time with friends.
Some of the tougher challenges get really frustrating though, and the AI will make the best possible words most of the time. I couldn’t resist temptation and ended up using a Scrabble Solver to finish up the challenges - I am in a Gamerscore Competition after all!
Might be worth grabbing hold of a chat pad if you don’t already have one. Makes typing in your words a lot easier, especially in the tougher challenges where time is a factor.
Pick it up now, at only 400MSP (release price, not a sale!) you won’t regret it :D
